Descrizione per lo SN65C23243
Gli SN65C23243 e gli SN75C23243 consistono di due porti, ciascuno che contengono tre la linea driver e cinque linea ricevitori e di un circuito doppio della pompa di carica con il perno della protezione di ±15-kV ESD per appuntare (perni di collegamento della porta seriale, compreso terra). Questi dispositivi soddisfanno le richieste di TIA/EIA-232-F e forniscono l'interfaccia elettrica fra un controllore di trasmissione asincrono ed il connettore della porta seriale. Questa combinazione di driver e di partite dei ricevitori che hanno avuto bisogno di per due porte seriali tipiche utilizzate in IBM PC/AT, o di compatibile. La pompa di carica e quattro piccoli condensatori esterni permettono l'operazione da un singolo 3-V a rifornimento 5.5-V. Inoltre, questi dispositivi comprendono un'uscita noninverting dell'sempre-attivo (ROUT2) per porto, che permette che le applicazioni facendo uso dell'indicatore dell'anello trasmettano i dati mentre i dispositivi sono spenti. I dispositivi azionano ai tassi di segnalazione di dati fino a 250 kbit/s e ad un massimo dell'uscita del driver 30-V/µs pantano ordina.
Le opzioni flessibili di controllo per la gestione di potere sono disponibili quando o entrambe le porte seriali sono inattive. La caratteristica automatica-powerdown funziona quando FORCEON è basso e FORCEOFF è alto. Durante questo modo di funzionamento, se il dispositivo non percepisce un segnale valido RS-232, il driver produce del suo rispettivo porto è disabile. Se FORCEOFF è messo in basso, entrambi i driver e ricevitori (eccetto ROUT2) sono chiusi e la corrente del rifornimento è ridotto a 1 µA. Il distacco della porta seriale o spegnere i driver periferici induce lo stato automatico-powerdown ad accadere.
Automatico-powerdown può essere disabile quando FORCEON e FORCEOFF sono alti e dovrebbe essere fatto quando guidano un topo di serie. Con permesso a automatico-powerdown, il porto RS-232 è attivato automaticamente quando un segnale valido si applica a tutto l'rispettivo input del ricevitore. L'uscita di INV è usata per informare l'utente se un segnale RS-232 è presente a qualunque input del ricevitore. INV è alto (dati validi) se qualunque ricevitore la tensione in ingresso è maggior di 2,7 V o più di meno – 2,7 V o sono stati fra – di 0,3 V e di 0,3 V per meno di 30 µs. INV è (dati invalidi) se tutte le tensioni in ingresso del ricevitore sono fra – 0,3 V bassa e 0,3 V per più di 30 µs. Riferisca a figura 5 per i livelli di ingresso del ricevitore.
